A beginning in Ta’ Giorni
The institute is established in Malta.
A Libyan education and training institution in Malta, connecting an established heritage with the development of new capabilities.

Since 1976
The Libyan Higher Vocational Institute for Instructors Training was established in 1976 in Ta’ Giorni, St Julian’s, Malta. Higher diploma cohorts began graduating in 1979, alongside English language studies.
Our work brings together skills development for individuals and organisations, within a setting that combines learning, training and accommodation. Practical experience and exchange across cultures remain central to that purpose.
To develop knowledge and skills, encourage initiative and creativity, and connect learning with the needs of people and institutions.
